                            WHAT IT TAKES TO GET STARTED
 

     Leading distributors in Nikken North America have outlined the “secrets” or ‘keys” to building a successful
     Nikken business. They all have their own styles, but their fundamentals are the same. These pages summarize
     those fundamentals.

     GOAL STATEMENT Sit down right now and figure out specifically what you want, when you want it; and why
     you are building a Nikken business for you and your family. Complete the following statement and then read it
     aloud twice a day.
     “It’s the___of__________ (date you want it), I am (ecstatic, grateful, proud) to be a ___________ (rank)
     distributor in Nikken earning over $ ____________ per month. I accomplished this by informing people about
     Nikken and getting them completely through “The Process”. I built my Nikken business because
     _________________
     ______________________________________________________________
     __________________________________________________________(why).”

     A PLAN: The next step is to decide how fast you would like to build your Nikken business. A good rule of
     thumb is that when you get 100 people completely through “The Process” you will have built a Platinum
     distributorship. Below are some suggested plans. Select the one that is appropriate for your goals.

     FAST:   First week blast
     1. Purchase Career, Sample Career  & 2 Demo Packs , Sleep System, personal items & products to loan
     2. SALES AIDS
     3. Start “The Process” with 30 new prospects every week (6 per day).
     4. Follow up on previous prospects and get them to the next step in “The Process”.
     5. Call your mentor/coach daily.
     6. Do the attitude and goal exercises on this page every day.

     MEDIUM:    First week blast
     1. Purchase Career & Sample Career  & 2 Demo Packs ,  Sleep System, and personal items.
     2. SALES AIDS
     3. Start “The Process” with 10 new prospects every week (2 per day).
     4. Follow up on previous prospects and get them to the next step in ’The Process”.
     5. Call your mentor/coach about every  other day.
     6. Do the attitude and goal exercises on this page every day.

     SLOW:  First week blast
     1. Purchase Sample Career  & 1  Demo Pack , Sleep System, and personal items.
     2. SALES AIDS
     3. Start “The Process” with 6 new prospects every week (1 per day).
     4. Follow up on previous prospects and get them to the next step in “The Process”.
     5. Call your mentor/coach once a week.
     6. Do the attitude and goal exercises on this page every day.

     COMMITMENT: Make a one year commitment to work your plan and your Nikken business. No business can
     be built in one day. It takes consistent effort over a period of time to reach your goals.

     ATTITUDE All leaders have a positive mental attitude. They have magnetic personalities. This takes effort and is
     an ongoing process. There are two exercises that will help you to develop a positive attitude. First read in a
     self-help type book for 15 minutes twice a day. Second, listen to a training audio cassette every day. Materials for
     both come in the “Business Building Kit’. It’s vital to your success to do these exercises every day.

     BE COACHABLE: Until you are earning $20,000 per month, do not re-invent the wheel. Follow the advice of
     your mentor/coach.

     The purpose of “The Process” is to give your prospects a complete picture of Nikken. It is our job to offer
     people both the products and the business opportunity by bringing them through ‘The (Information) Process”. It is
     their job to decide what, if any, of Nikken is for them. Usually, a prospect that completes ‘The Process will either
     become a distributor, buy products or at least refer you to someone they know.

     100 List: Make your Balance for a Lifetime list of at least 100 people you know or who know you. Qualify these
     people with your upline sponsor/leader using E-I-R-L. The 10 prospects with the highest numbers are your Top
     10.

     E = Entrepreneur; 3 if they are more entrepreneurial than you, 2 if same as you, 1 if less than you.

     I = Influence; 3 if you’d listen to them 2 if unsure, 1 if you would not listen to them.

     Rr = Resources: 3 if prospect could fund their business larger than you, 2 if same as you, 1 if less.

     L= Location: 1 if they live within 90 miles of you, 0 if more than 90 miles.

     One on Ones:
     See all your local hot prospects as soon as possible in person Go through Tired of Trading Time For Money
     brochure to show  your prospect a overview of the business, the products, and find how Nikken can benefit
     them (their “Why” — their dreams and desires).
 

     Note: Stick to the brochure and say less to more people. Listen carefully! Your prospects will always give
     you the “key” to sponsoring them if you will just ask enough questions, and then listen.
     Always leave your prospect with more information (see information Stage below).

     Pre-Sort:
     Start your remaining prospects at the Information Stage to determine their level of interest in Nikken.

     Information Stage: Create Interest.
     Choose at least 2 from below but only give your prospect one at a time.
     Introduction Audio

     * Executive Lunch Audio

      SEE   "THE MUST HAVE'S"

     To get the information to your prospect, you can:
     1. Drop by, give the information to them and set the follow-up time.
     2. Telephone them, mail the information to them and set the follow-up time.
     3. Hand out the information to people you come into contact with (3-foot rule).
     Remember to get all their telephone numbers and set the follow-up time.

     3-Way Call:
     Call your prospect with your upline sponsor/leader to get their questions
     answered by a third party and to have them continue in “The Process”.

     Product Demo: Get Results.
     Demonstrate (especially the Rollout) Nikken products at their home, office or a Nikken event.
     This will show them the value of our products. If your prospect did not have a One on One,
     use the " Trading Time For Money" Brochure to find how the Nikken business opportunity
     can benefit them (their “Why” — their dreams and desires).

     Question: After your prospect has completed “The Process”, ask your prospect, “Do you have any questions?”
     If yes, answer them, if no, then ask them “What would it take for you to join us in business?”

     Note:
     The order of’ completion is not important, just make sure all steps are completed.
